WWDC 2020 - iOS 14 updates full details...

Apple's WWDC 2020, Here we have major softwares updates for Apple devices.

What is WWDC?

WWDC World Wide Developers Conference is a event where apple introduce the new software update for Apple devices every year. This event conducted in the month of june every year. In some WWDC events they also launched the gadgets. 

In WWDC 2020 Apple roled major updates, 

First we discuss about  IOS 14.

IOS 14

1) App Library

App library is feature which organize all apps in different app pages according to category (ex: social media apps like twitter, instagram will arrange in one app gage). So it is easy to access all similar app. Also have a option to hide app pages which you don't want to see all the time.

2) Widgets

Widgets are usually help full to get information, news, etc. Now in IOS 14 we have a feature to add widgets at home page. You can drag and place widgets where ever you want. And the best part is, widgets can be customized in different sizes according to your taste.

3) Picture In Picture

Picture in picture mode helps you a lot while watching video and doing other things. For example you are watching a movie in between you need to complete some important work on mobile, now it is easy.

4) SIRI

Now Siri responds faster than ever before. Major change in siri is animation, now it will appear at botton and covers small space. And now with the help of Siri we can text messages accurate nad faster.

5)  Translate 

Translate app will help you in conversation with any other language person. Best part of this app, this is completely offline which great for privacy. If you turn phone into landscape, screen will split into two part, so 2 people of different languages can easily understand the conversation.

6) Messages

Now you can pin any conversation to display at the top. And memoji will help you to make conversation more fun and interesting. For group conversations, now you can customize as, you will notify when your name is mentioned in group conversation.

7) Maps

Maps got major updates, now it has more accurate navigations, and feature of look around, where you can explore particular place at 360 degree view. And added a cycling mode (for 5 cities). Also dedicated mode for electric vehicles.

8) Car play

For car play now there are some amazing wallpapers. And some new features like parking, quick food ordering. Now you can digitally unlock your mobile. You just have to tap  iPhone on the handle bar to unlock.

9) App Clip

App clip is a part of a app store. It is very useful and fast too. App clip will launches tha particular part of any app. Example while parkin by tapping the mobile app clip opens and take you directly to the payment option. This is safe and secure becoz it uses Apple Pay for payments.

Our Opinion

Apple is a brand which creates trend, and android phone follows Apple's trend or get inspired by Apple. Such as,  notch, control center, face ID and many. But IOS 14 seems more like Apple inspired by android a lot. 90% of IOS 14 is inspired from android. I am android user, so while watching WWDC live event, i just laughed. But although inspired by android, features are way more advanced or improved. Overall IOS 14 is more user friendly amd secure too.
