Future Of Folding Smartphones

The future of folding smartphones

Now every smartphone brands are interested on folding smartphones. In next few years we might see folding smartphone as a common like any smartphone today. I was also very excited on these concepts, but after some time I had bunch of doubts regarding folding smartphones. So, I thought it would be better to share with public.

1. Why should you buy a folding smartphone?

Folding smartphones are the future of tablets. While you travel a lot or you have to run all the day on work it will be easi to carry. And you don't have to carry mobile and tablet separately. While you are doing something on mobile and suddenly you had a work on tablet, now you just have to expand the screen. I think this is the only plus point for folding phones (tablet version). Folding smartphones like Samsung Z  Flip are very compact in size. Huge screens will now fit in your pocket easily.

2. Does it affects on performance and design?

When it comes to design, definitely it affects in looks of smartphone. Mobiles become much bulky. And the designing engineer unit also have to do a lot of R&D to put all the components in such a complicated design.
And when we talk about performance, initially it may take time for brands to perfectly sync the software with folding technology but latet on it may improved. But it may take time.

3. Am I interested im folding smartphones now?

To be honest I'm not at all interested in folding tablets. But I like the concept of folding smartphones like Samsung Z Flip, it looks even more cool. And it also make sense to me.

The brands are trying to make smartphones in more compact size so,  flip phone actually add some sense to it. But still I don't have confidence on folding displays (i don't know why normal display feel more confidently usable than flip display).

4. Do we use it like traditional tablets or smartphones?

When our team was discussing about this question, no one was confidently said that, they  can use it without any fear. Reason is, we saw that many displays of Samsung Galaxy Fold was broke. The display was not working after peeling off the guard on screen which brand was pre installed. So, that was stuck in our minds. Which is also makes sense. It is not impossible technology too, it will become better every next generation. But for now we don't want to invest on folding phones which we can't use confidently.

5. Pricing and drawbacks?

Pricing of foldable phone are very high. The companies has to invest so much on R&D to build a perfect folding phones. And that will make smartphones so expensive. The foldable display technology will take years to be available in affordable prices or budget segment.
Drawbacks are we don't have confidence on folding display technology because it is new. And it will be bulky too for foldable tablets.

6. Bonus

The LG Velvet looks more practical. Brands can do like that. If we want to use dual screen we will attach the case or else we can carry mobile only. LG Velvet's design was not perfect but brands can improve the looks and design. It is only if you want to use tablet. In flip phones, I personally like the flipable smartphones.

VIVO CALL DROP ISSUES This is a very quick and short blog about my experience with every Vivo smartphone ever I had.  I will share my personal experience with you without degrading any brand name. Personally I use Vivo mobile so, I am the best person to explain the problem with their smartphones. Particularly I'm focusing on call drop issues in Vivo mobiles. As I said I'm using Vivo mobile, before me, one of my friends has bought a Vivo smartphone and he is also facing the similar issue (name him as X).
