PROCESSOR - what are the components present in processor

Processor

Processor is a heart for the smartphones. Always we talk about what processor is in your smartphone and how powerful it is. But do you ever think, what are the main components built in the processor and how does they work in smartphones.

So, in this blog we explained everything in detail about what are the components present in processor and how they work etc.

1.CPU
2.GPU
3. Camera ISP
4. Radio  And Modem Processing  Unit
5. AV Processing  Unit
6. Memory Controller

1. CPU

CPU stands for Central Processing Unit.

* CPU is very important component in a smartphone. It is used for the performance.

It is build with number of cores. Increase in the number of cores means increas the performance of CPU. (EX: Single core, Dual core & Multi core).

* That  speed of CPU measures in "Hz's".

* CPU is divided into multiple clock speeds. (for example; In octa (8) core processor, 2 core will be clocked at 2.2 GHz and 6 core clocked at 1.8 GHz).

2. GPU

GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit.

* GPU in your smartphone push the device to create image fast and efficient way.

* It converts the data from the memory unit which is in the form of "1" & "0" into the form of image on the display.

* Higher GPU leads to better performance and graphic details.

* GPU are mainly used to give the better experience while playing higher graphics (or) 3D mobile games.

* Adreno & Mali are mainly used in smartphones.

3. CAMERA ISP

* ISP stands for Image Signal Processor. And also known as Image Processing Unit.

How does camera ISP works?

In simple words,  while you capture a image with your camera in mobile phones, it basically stores without color, image will be in gray shades (Black & White). So,  ISP takes the information from each pixel which is in grey and it process the data then convert that information into colour by using RGB (RED, GREEN, BLUE) sensors according to the grey shades.

4. Radio & Modem Processing Unit

* Radio and Modem controls your connectivity.

* Radio helps to transmit or receive audio signals (or) data.

* Modem helps to transmit or receive digital signals (or) data by using the 3G/4G connectivity.

* In simple words, Radio works while calls and Modem works while browsing, streaming (or) using internet.

5. AV Processing Unit

* AV stands for audio & video processing unit.

* Processor will also have dedicated processing units to handle audio and video. To give you better output for your better experience.

6. Memory Controller

* Memory controller is integrated into the processor.

* It plays a very important role to monitor your data from phone memory.

* It helps to open applications and files more faster and efficiently.

* It helps while you jump from one file to another (or) one application to another application without erasing the previous data.

Types of Batteries Used In Electronic Devices

Now a days we are dependent on batteries mostly as in mobile phones, laptop, electric vehicles andother electronic devices. But do you know? What are the types of batteries we have and how they work. So, in this blog we explain you about batteries which are used mainly. Types of batteries 1. Nickel Cadmium 2. Nickel Metal Hydride 3. Lithium Ion  4. Lithium Polymer 1. Nickel Cadmium * Nicd battery. *  It was discovered in 1950. *  These batteries are mainly used in automotive electronics. Like electric vehicles, aircrafts etc. * Maximum voltage per cell is 1.2V. Pros *  It is rechargeable or reusable. *  Number of cycle durability is approximately upto 2000. *  High performance and long life. *  Charging temperature 0°C to 45°C and discharge temperature -20°C to 65°C. *  Capable to use in temperature at -40°C to 70°C. Cons * Cadmium present in these batteries, which is highly toxic and dangerous to environment. *  It is...

Laptop Buying Guide - How to choose perfect laptop for you...

Laptop Buying Guide (2020) Hi!, welcome to our blog. In this blog we give you some suggestions which may help you while buying a laptop. We keep it simple and informative. In market we have lot of laptops, but no laptop is perfect for everyone. While buying a laptop make sure that, you should know, for what purpose your buying a laptop. For-example gaming (or) video editing (or) coding (or) photo editing (or) entertainment (or) for project works (or) for business work etc... As we said no any laptop is perfect, we have to choose which is perfect for our needs. If you get confused don't worry, read complete blog it will definitely help you. We separated specifications in 7 different parts.  1.PROCESSOR Processor is very important in laptops, but you should not go for higher processor if you dont need, its just a waste of money. For normal users (like watching movies, coding, making Excel sheets & browsing) intel i3 processor is enough, it is capable to ...
