INTEL EVO PLATFORM
Everything you need to know about Intel EVO certification. Intel has started a new program called "evo". In this program laptop has to surpass few of the conditions to get verified. I will give you all the knowledge about this program and explain how effectively helpful for consumers.
What Are The Conditions?
Intel has tiedup with top laptop manufacturing brands, and they put some conditions which laptops has to surpass or satisfy. Let's see what are those;
1. Processor
Laptop must have Intel 11th generation processor with Intel i5 or i7 processors. When it comes to graphics, it must have Intel Iris X graphics.
2. Connectivity
For a laptop to pass this step it should have Wi-Fi 6, which provides you powerful and faster response with internet or any device. And it improves interaction quality.
3. Display
Evo Platform certified laptops have FHD display. Which improves your experience with laptop, and help you to high quality media consumption.
4. Battery
This is a biggest concern I have while choosing a laptop. Battery backup is prioritised in my spec list. So, in this platform it is necessary for any laptop to provide battery backup more than 9 hours.
5. Thunderbolt 4
Thunderbolt 4 which provides a 40GB/second data transfer rate through a single-cable connection. That means great data transfer speed by any laptop.
How it is useful for consumers?
To be frank ,it doesn't make any performance boost in laptops or does not add some more power to device. But this is very helpful for those who have no knowledge about specifications. It's like someone is recommending consumers the best possible and balanced premium laptop. Intel Evo is like a certificate which has some conditions to be satisfied by the laptop. This certificate is more about the premium laptops. In official website of Intel also, stressed this word PREMIUM.
In simple words, if you want a premium and promising laptop and don't have much knowledge about those specifications, it is a easy solution. If laptop is Intel EVO certified you can pick it up with trust on Intel.
