Customise Your Smartphone
In 2020 we saw lot of changes in every industries. One of the huge change was boycotting Chinese products or Chinese softwares. There was great opportunity for the Indian smartphone brands like Lava & Micromax. But in my opinion they failed to utilize that opportunity perfectly. They do launched few models but definitely not game changers.
Now, Lava introduced a new thought, customizeable smartphones. They call it "my Z". You can customize specification as you wanted to. Lava said you can customize with 66 different combinations. You can customize in 5 different areas, Rear Camera, Front Camera, RAM, ROM, Color.
Is It Really A Customizeable Smartphone?
Well, it doesn't feel like real customization, all I can say is, this is first generation or first step took by Lava. Actually, this will help a lot in terms of marketing for Lava, if they do it properly. Color, ROM & RAM are only customize always, now you can modify your camera too. But this whole thing is gymic.
MY OPINION
In my opinion this is great thing if this will implement by other smartphone brands. So, we can actually buy the smartphone which we want and need. I really want this should done by all the manufacturers which works on bigger scale. And we can customize every specification as we need. Because now we buy a smartphone which have many great specifications and features but we don't even use them. For example in your smartphone you have best processor which give you best performance while gaming, but you don't play games and you are more into media consuming watching movies, playing songs and calls. So, you are unnecessarily paying for the processor even you don't need. Hope you understand the concept. Comment what is more important and what is unnecessary in your smartphone or how will you like to customize your dream smartphone.
