HOW TO GET STUDENT OFFERS ON APPLE PRODUCTS - ON APPLE E-STORE

This blog is completely based on my personal experience. I will share how much time and what are the steps to get verified or get student or education discounts on Apple E-store. 

Many consumers may don't have an idea on student discounts on Apple products. Last year in 2020 Apple has officially launched their E-store services in India. In few, Apple authorised retailers store, you can show your student ID card and get discounts on it. But on online this is a whole different process. So, I have faced few problems and got rejected many times because of small mistakes. And rectified those mistakes and again applied for it. So, I will help you and give some very important tips. Before getting  into the blog do subscribe my blog.

I had wrote this blog as a story with out, so don't miss any line. And I'll try to keep it simple and crisp. 

As we all do- I wanted to buy a MacBook because I love it. So I have some idea about education discount on apple products. So, I started and tried to open the education web page of apple. But it asked for UNIDAYS user ID and password. If you have already a verified UNIDAYS account it is simple, just login and order your product. 

If you don't have any UNIDAYS account, you have to create a new one. From here we have to be careful and step forward. First signup on UNIDAYS. And then apply for student ID verification. You have to select your institution name and add personal email which college has provided to you. But in India most of the institution's does not give us any personal email addresses (personal institution email address). So, you have to click on support and there you have to click on i don't have personal email, then they ask for your ID Card front and back photo. You have to upload it. I have shared few screenshots.

The ticket will be submitted to UNIDAYS. After that, they will send a email and request you to send ID proof which helps in verifying your institution and also validates your year of studying. In my case it was different. I submitted a ticket, I got a mail where they asked for ID proof of University which I am studying. But I don't have any identity which have the name of University because I was studying in affliated college, in ID Card and each and every document has my college institution name not University. But finally after a month suddenly hits into my mind about hall ticket. Then I searched for hall ticket and took a picture  and sent them. It took around 1week to verify. So, I will suggest you to upload a ID which has your university name as well as institution name. 

Okay! A small note: Education discount is only applicable on MacBooks and iPads.
