OUR OPINION

Xiomi launched mi notebook 14 (2020) to compete in mid range of laptop. This is first official laptop launch in India from Xiomi. First display, they provide 14" display in 13" form factor that's  pretty good. And brightness goes upto 300 nits. You may face problems in bright conditions. Second keyboard, the keyboard is Scissor-switch mechanish. It gives 1.3 mm of key travel. On paper experience of key board is great. But keyboard is not back-lit, so it will be hard to work in dark conditions . When it comes to trackpad is worst, trackpad is very small. You definitely have to use external mouse. Third all variants comes with ssd, which is great in long run. It comes with 8GB of ram which is not sufficient for heavy tasks. We can see all major ports are provided (no need to buy dongles).
