APPLE EVENT OCT 2020 | REVIEW | HOMEPOD MINI | IPHONE 12 & IPHONE 12 MINI | PART-1

APPLE EVENT 2020

1. HOME POD MINI
Apple's HomePods are one of the most successful smart speakers in market. But price is too high.so, this year Apple launched the smaller version of HomePod which is HomePod Mini. With this you can do all the works as typical HomePod. Now it can recognize multiple voices. Basically it can store multiple voices in its brain and respond them accordingly. This feature feels so personalised.

One more great feature added to it is 'Intercom'. With Intercom you can ask siri to pass the message in different rooms by different HomePods. In simple words, suppose you installed two HomePod Mini in two different rooms now you can ask siri 1st HomePod to pass the msg through 2nd HomePod.

And the price is also good. If you are looking for a smart speakers I will definitely recommend. Because HomePods are great smart Speakers and gives more accurate data than others.

Price: $99 in India it costs around Rs.7k-8k
(prices may vary)

2. iPHONE 12 & IPHONE 12 MINI

iPhone 12 is second product that Apple had showcased in Apple Event 2020. First thing they introduced 5G in iPhones. Like expected 5G is basic feature that we expect from new generation of iPhones. If we you have no need of 5G it automatically shifts to 4G LTE to save data and battery and again if you need 5G it switches seamlessly.

Next the design, as we seen in plenty of leaks it has a flat back panel and reduces the camera bump at back. It has a 6.1" OLED, resolution 2532×1170, Super Retina XDR display with 460 ppi. The display is covered with CERAMIC SHIELD which will protect you phone from damages.

When it comes to performance, iPhone 12 is build with A14 bionic chip which is build in 5nm technology. They claimed A14 to be a best chip for gaming too.

CAMERA: Primary camera is a 12MP, f/1.6 aperture, which ia also provide a good amount of wide lens. But if you need more wide lens, it has a 12MP Ultrawide lens with 120°, f/2.4 aperture.

MAGSAFE: Apple has come with the new idea of using magnet in back panel and they name it Magsafe. It will help to do ton of things like putting magnetic card pouch at back. I feel this is a cool feature to have in any smartphone.

iPhone 12 mini

iPhone 12 mini is a compact version with same specifications as iPhone 12. Screen size is 5.4" OLED display, resolution 2340×1080, 476 ppi.

Personally I use Vivo mobile so, I am the best person to explain the problem with their smartphones. Particularly I'm focusing on call drop issues in Vivo mobiles.
