After many years VAIO has launched their new laptop madels in India with Nexstgo. As we know in past they was actually tied up with sony. And they use to provide a premium laptops in Indian market. But in their second innings, they are coming in collaboration with Nexstgo.

Now let's talk about both the models, E Series and SE Series. I will try to keep this blog crisp clear.
PRICING
Before get into the specification details, lets introduce the prices. We can see two model, first is E Series which has starting price of around ₹50,000/-. And second is SE series which starts at the price of around ₹63,000/-. All variants links are provided below.
SPECIFICATIONS
E SERIES :
Processor
These models will be available with AMD Ryzen processors. The base variant has Ryzen 5 processor. It has 8GB RAM & 512GB SSD storage. It comes with windows 10 operating system with MS Office.
Display & Audio
It has 15.6 inch LED Full HD display with backlit technology. It has display resolution of 1920×1080. It has 2 stereo speakers of 1W output.
Physical Body
Dimensions: 358.7×239.2×19.9 mm, weight: 1.77 Kg. It has very thin and light weight.
Battery
You can get upto 8hrs of battery backup.
SE SERIES :
Processor
This model will be available in Intel processor. It has only one variant with Intel i5 10th generation processor. It has 8GB RAM & 512GB SSD storage. It comes with windows 10 operating system with MS Office.
Display & Audio
It has 14 inch LED Full HD display with backlit technology. It has display resolution of 1920×1080. It has 2 stereo speakers of 1W output.
Physical Body
Dimensions: 324.4×229.6×19.55 mm, weight: 1.35 Kg. It has very thin and light weight.
Battery
You can get upto 13hrs of battery backup.
OPINION
In my opinion this is very outdated. I think it should be launched 5 years ago. I like the sleek and thin body but specifications are very outdated for todays market. If it has the tag of Sony and few upgrades in specs, you may consider it into your list. But it is not coming with Sony brand tag, so it may be a drawback as of now. To compete in Indian laptop market, they should provide something which will attract consumers and convince to buy their laptop instead of others. Here we can see, Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Dell, HP & etc are good at their place they have their own pros and cons, I think VAIO should be concentrate on after sale services. Because many brands are providing specs like chocolate on paper, but they are lacking in after sale services. People are more concerned about service centers when it comes to the matter of laptop which will lasts for more than 4,5 years for a normal person. I believe that if laptop manufacturing brands can provide promising aftersale support, they can grab more customers towards them as some of the brands are already doing it.
