In this blog we will discuss about Google's new security and privacy updates, which google has bring to us in this Google IO. I will share the updates and also the practical possibility.
First thing which google introduced is, auto deleting activities after 18 months.
In today's life security and privacy one of the major problem. We need to keep our data safe and try to avoid using third party applications which is not authentic. Even though many time we have heard about many social media account are hacked. This is basically happens because of simple passwords, and easily breakable combinations. And many people use same password for all the applications, website which is quite dangerous. If one the the website gets compromised, hackers may use those details and passwords access your all the accounts.
To overcome these issues, Google has updated their Chrome application and also Android OS. These softwares will create a auto passwords which has unique combinations of letters, number, and also symbols which makes your password strong. And Chrome or OS will enter a required id and password every time you login into those applications. This process will done seamlessly with minimum clicks. As Google said you don't need to create a unique strong passwords and remember it every time you login.
They are trying to explain how their privacy and security policies works and what kind of data they collect for ads and what extent they access our data which is stored in google. Also Google promises that, they never use our personal data like photos, videos to show customized ads. That means that they never sell our photo, video data with any companies etc.
They also added few features into Google's browser to enhance your privacy security. Like they added quick clear history option on the home page which is accessible with a single click. By this you can delete most recent data from history. And also like this you can easily turn off location history on google maps.
These are few updates which google had made for it's security and privacy.
In my opinion google was trying to prove their geniun intensions. Which means they explained how they are keeping our data safe from any third person. Actually google haven't introduced any kind of ground breaking updates in their security & privacy policy.
