Qualcomm Snapdragon 7C Gen 2 - Full Details Explained

Snapdragon 7C Gen 2

Hell everyone!

Hope you're doing well in this pandemic times by staying at home. If you want to get some knowledge in the technology do follow us and stay updated with every updates.

Even if you have minimum knowledge on laptop you noticed that majority of the laptops are built based on Intel or AMD processors. But these companies use to make only PC based processors. They use to consume high power and occupies more space in devices. And they use to produce heat so manufacturer has to provide a cooling fans or heat sink technology.

Where as smartphones they built on Snapdragon, Exynos,  Mediatek etc processors. These companies make processor based on smartphones. And in fact these processors produces less heat and great battery efficiency with thin size. If we can see over the past years smartphone based processors are getting better interms of performance and also competing with PC's. Smartphone can do almost all the tasks which PC does. Of course you can't compare the both but, here comparison is not about the devices buy it is about processor. These processors are much more capable.

To break this down, Snapdragon has launched their new series which completely targets the laptops or PC's. This processors are very thin in size and produce less heat and great battery life. They actually introduced many series which are dedicated to PC's.

They have launched 7C Gen 2 processor which is the second generation of this series. And it has major changes from past and more efficient than before.

This series ia based on ARM so it increases performance and reduces power consumption. As we saw in Apple M1 in MacBook has changed everything in laptop or PC world. This will be the future of PC. Everyone company will put ARM based chips. It helps to reduce the size of device and because it does not produce any heat laptops can skip fans.

Let's See What 7C Gen 2 Specs

This processor is capable of LTE, so you can enable LTE in your PC by installing SIM into the device. Although this feature is not new in PC's, but it provides improved quality in connectivity. And also it supports always ON always Connected which will let you connect with you network as we usually do on smartphones. This is possible due to the battery efficient processor which gives multiple days of battery backup.

When it comes to camera, it has more advanced Integrated Qualcomm Spectra 255 Image Signal Processor (ISP) which is 14-bit.  Which will help in taking better pictures and videos. It produces better dynamic range in Images. It supports the system to capture upto 4K at 30fps. And camera lens upto 32MP.

They put Qualcomm Aqstic for improvement in audio. You can take this chip to an incredible heights in these areas.

Other than these technology Qualcomm has also focused on AI and Security. Like every company is focusing more on security these days, Qualcomm also now participating in this whole Security race, which is good thing for their customers.

Features:

Camera: 4k @30fps, with noise reduction technology. 32MP max support.

Bluetooth: It supports v5.0
Which is not upto the mark but for entry level PC's, it is decent.

CPU:
64 bit, Kryo 468 which supports clock speed upto 2.5GHz.

Display:
It supports tge display with upto 2560×1440 or 2048×1536. Which is basically a 2K display. 2K display support is more than enough in laptops or entry level PC.

OS:
It supports windows 10 and Google's chrome OS.

Peak Speed: 600 Mbps

Wifi-Bands: It supports both 2.4GHz & 5GHz

Opinion

As we explained everything in blog, it is not the game changing processor in PC industry but this may give strong competition to Intel and AMD. The technology like efficiency is strong selling point to this processor. This doesn't comes in high performance based gaming PC but there may be chances for the very entry level PC's which are dedicated for students and low performance needed laptops. I would say it will perform better than many Intel or AMD processors.

So, that's it for this blog guys. I hope you will have a great time by reading these valuable and informative blogs.

Types of Batteries Used In Electronic Devices

Now a days we are dependent on batteries mostly as in mobile phones, laptop, electric vehicles andother electronic devices. But do you know? What are the types of batteries we have and how they work. So, in this blog we explain you about batteries which are used mainly. Types of batteries 1. Nickel Cadmium 2. Nickel Metal Hydride 3. Lithium Ion  4. Lithium Polymer 1. Nickel Cadmium * Nicd battery. *  It was discovered in 1950. *  These batteries are mainly used in automotive electronics. Like electric vehicles, aircrafts etc. * Maximum voltage per cell is 1.2V. Pros *  It is rechargeable or reusable. *  Number of cycle durability is approximately upto 2000. *  High performance and long life. *  Charging temperature 0°C to 45°C and discharge temperature -20°C to 65°C. *  Capable to use in temperature at -40°C to 70°C. Cons * Cadmium present in these batteries, which is highly toxic and dangerous to environment. *  It is...
