MY NEW SMARTPHONE 🤔! DON'T BUY PIXEL 4A OR PIXEL DEVICES | FLIPKART SERVICES | VIVO V21 FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VIVO V21

Hello Everyone!

Hope everyone doing great. Today in I'm gonna share about my new smartphone device Vivo V21. This is not a complete review blog, I will share my personal review after few days of using it. So, for today I will share my first impressions and before that why I choose Vivo V21. So lets get started.

Why Vivo V21?

If you have been seen my past blogs, I mentioned that my interest  is always towards smaller or slimmer or compact smartphones and also said my next device may be the compact mobile. And I had a budget of around 30k+.

Actually I wanted to buy the Pixel 4A. Which is one of the best compact smartphones available now in Indian market. I was planning for Pixel from couple of months. Later I heard the rumours of Pixel 5A which is the successor of 4A and it was rumoured of launching in the month of June, So I waited for it so long. Then the news came out that the Pixel 5A release is postponed due to ship shortage. I felt so bad for it.

Then I made my mind again on 4A which is 4G but the thing is, my priority was not about the 5G device, it's all about compact size. Pixel 4A was confirmed 99% as my next Smartphone but I changed my mind.

The reason are really major. Since I made my mind to buy 4A, started watching plenty of videos on youtube and reading reviews from every where Then I found few videos where they totally changed my perspective. As investing on smartphone around 30k Indian rupees, we have to make sure about after sale services and also the problems which you may face after getting it home. So, in my research I found that Google does not have a proper service centres for pixel devices in India. And one more major issue is regarding over heating.

But to be frank I still like the Pixel 4A but I don't want to do experiment about it. So, it finally brings me towards the Vivo V21 which is launched recently on Flipkart.

My previous device was Vivo Z1 Pro, So I put it for exchange where I got a very good deal. I will share my exchange experience in other blog in detail. In short it costs me around 20.5k after the exchange value.

Delivery Experience

I bought it from Flipkart, and the delivery was done on the date as they promised but it was little disappointing. Reason is the product was arrived at the nearest point before the day it was delivered. I was waiting till night for that delivery guy. That was fine but the next day it says out for delivery in the morning at 9 'O' clock but he haven't came till 11:30, 12:00. This much of time is huge because I live in area and it hardly take 10-15 mins to reach from one corner to other. So, I went to the Ekart delivery hub and gave my details and asked for the package and he delivered my package. It means the product was not out for delivery yet, it was laying down there. By keeping this side he took my old Z1 Pro and checked everything and delivered my package. This was smooth process Z1 Pro does not have any issues so he inspected properly and gave a clearance.

First Impressions

The package was decent enough and I open the Vivo V21 box and took out the Smartphone and it felt good in hands. And I checked inside the box, everything was fine.

Let me share the feel of device. As I mentioned above, my previous smartphone was Vivo Z1 Pro, that was very heavy device. I don't have words to describe the feeling of holding a light weight smartphone after a Z1 Pro. In terms of weight and the design, I liked it very much. But the moment I turned on the device, it has some negative points too.

Back design and the flat boxy design is great it, but the notch is one of the drawbacks. It has a very huge water notch which just ruins the whole design from front. This notch is not acceptable in the year of 2021. But it was manageable because the notch is functional, it has the front OIS which keeps your selfie pictures and videos stable. But still punch hole design could make it look much better. As we don't have the headphone jack port we get a dongle inside the box itself which make job done.

If you come to the display quality, it has a OLED panel which is good and produce good amount of the contrast and brightness. and also it has a 90Hz refresh rate panel which you can turn off if you concern about the battery. I don't have any issue with display other than the notch.

Next part of this device is camera, the Vivo V21 is a camera centric Smartphone I haven't tested camera in depth but the photos as far I clicked are very good. You can click some amazing pictures with it. The complete review will be posted very soon when I get complete positive and negatives on it. As far as battery is concern it gives battery backup one whole day with heavy usage.

That's it for this blog hope you find it informative. Please do share across your friends & family and do support us.
