TESLA CARS IN INDIA - 2021

TESLA CARS IN INDIA

Hello!

The electric vehicles are the future, and Tesla is leading company in electric car manufacturers. Tesla is globally well established and one of the most valuable company in technology. The founder of TESLA Elon Musk, desired replace the fule consuming cars with fully electric car. And he started stepping towards this.

As we know Tesla is globally leading the electric cars market but, even since it's launched many years ago Tesla was not entered into the Indian market. Although many customers has pre-booked the Tesla from India with the hope that, Tesla will be available in India too. And their was many rumours around it. But no one get their pre-booked Tesla due to some external reasons.

But now in 2021 finally Tesla if officially coming to India. Most of the tech enthusiast and Tesla fans are eagerly waiting for this beauty.

Why Tesla is most awaited electric car in India?

To invest in electric car we have many other options in India, but Tesla cars are not just a electric vehicles but also a self driving car. Actually a semi self driving car. And no any car is as efficient and promising as Tesla, we are talking about range and luxury of car, all that stuff.

Is it possible for a self driving car to survive in India?

To be frank, every one is discussing about the features that it brings within it, but it is impossible to do use it's self driving mode in India. In India roads are so conjested in cities, and even in highways nothing is accurate. I'm not saying about accidents, but you can't really enjoy those features properly. For example in India we can see that animals and humans crossing the National Highways without any proper manner. So if you even switch to self drive mode, you have keep your eye and presence of mind on road which is not great in my opinion. Like this we have many disadvantages in India. To properly use that self driving mode in any car it may decades. First we have make people aware of law and regulations, and constructing a proper and strong highways that lasts for many years.

Next thing is charging stations, in USA their are hundreds of charging stations are installed. People can travel long distance without any tension about battery range. They can easily park the car in those charging stations and take a small break till it charges and this is free of cost. And if same thing can implement in India it will be great. It will be interesting and exciting thing to happen.

Pricing

Undoubtedly this is going to be a very expensive. If you see it as a electric car, in India we have TATA Nexon, and other electric cars, which are very cheep in comparison. If they import by manufacturering the cars from US or other countries, import duties and taxes will make them way more expensive. Only solution we have is, government subsidies on import duties. It will consume lot of time for Tesla to build manufacturers factories in India which will help to cut down the cost. Let's see what is the going heppen and hope for the best.
